Who is going to have a White Christmas?

I couldn't believe my ears a few minutes ago - thunder?! Yup, thunder and rain. Normally, Montreal is knee deep in snow (or a combination of slush and snow) this time of year.

How's the weather in your world? Snow anyone?

We have a forecast for a green Christmas here as well (Niagara Falls Ontario). It was 13 C (58 F) yesterday! Although its now supposed to slowly drop in temperature over the next two weeks and they are calling for a snowy New Years Eve.

It's been in the 50's here mostly, and was close to 60 today and supposedly it will be near or above 60 in the coming days.

Most of December & January here, normal daytime hi's are in the low 40's, upper 30's.

I love warm weather, but this Global Warming thing just ain't right!! :flaming:

:snowman: :snowman: :snowman:

It was close to 70* here today, and that is forecast for the next several days. But we rarely get any measurable snow before Christmas, and I can remember only one true white Christmas in 51 years. Flurries is about the best we can hope for, which is probaly for the best, as this place shuts down when we get any real snow.

omg..... i am really jealous of you guys with the warm weather........:hysterical:

but on saying that its really mild for the time of year here in south wales...uk.....

we have had loads and loads of rain....... no frost or anything......

so looks as though we are gonig to have a wet mild christmas.....here.......:snowman:

Apparently the UK bookies odds on it being a white Christmas are the longest they've ever been - 7/1 that a flake of snow will fall in Glasgow (which I would have thought used to be quite a fair bet)!

My friend has just emigrated to Canada and I can't remember where he is but we just got an email with a picture of their house totally whited out and I was very jealous. Poor Finlay is convinced that Christmas day = snow and will not be told otherwise. Maybe we'll hire a snow machine next year..

nah not here..we get maybe three days at most a year usually in feb/march..as we are just overlooking the Solway estuary and so its very damp/cold/wind chil factor sends us below -5 most nights...but hey no bloody white stuff....last white xmas l had )apart from USA and canada times) was 1971 in Herne Bay, Kent UK///

Yesterday, lots of people here were mowing their lawns! Yes, the grass is actually growing!

It's about 72* out right now, so it's good-bye for a while; I'm off the enjoy this lovely weather.

It is in the mid 60's in my neck of the woods (Kansas) but it is starting to get colder. The forecast calls for flurries but I'll believe it when I see it. We haven't had a white Christmas in 3 years. We did have a nice snow fall the last day of November. Here are pictures of Caty & Curt playing in it. They had so much fun!

Delish - I could eat those two cuties up!!!!

Well, Lizzie, I'm not sure if our grass is growing, but it is green. Weird. Jonathan and I experience the same sort of weather; so I guess it's New Year's before snow. :(

When snow and cold finally arrives, I promise not to complain. I like snow, but I usually use choice words during the deep freezes (-20). It's predictable though and that's comforting - this weather has me all discomfubulated.
