Who is Maurice??

Hello everyone,
I just bought two dresses on ebay. They are the op art type dresses and similar in style to pucci, paganne etc. They are signed "Maurice" on the dress itself similar to pucci dresses that have Emilio" signatures. I am not familiar with "Maurice" and I couldn't find anything in the label resource. Have you heard of this "Maurice"?

I don't know anything about that label. I did some searching around and it is very similar to what Pucci was doing at that time. Hopefully someone will come along with more information.

I've had a few Maurice pieces and I believe we've talked about it here in the past, and no one has ever really ever been able to find much out about the label. But I love that kind of look!

I have a slinky 70s nightgown by Maurice - with a vivid, neon colored very Pucci type print. The only tag on it is from Saks Fifth Ave, although the print is singed (in the same manner pucci signed his) Maurice.
