Who\'s \"Mary Margaret McBride\"? Anyone know?

This is a really weird fabric. It\'s really heavy, yet almost sheer. It has all pinked seams, and back, \"Talon\" zipper.
The belt is fabric covered, with a big satin bow. Buckle is in back. Sleeves are tea length. Could it be 40\'s, or early 50\'s?

I don't know if there was any relation, but there was a Mary Margaret McBride who was a very, very popular radio show host in the 40s and 50s. I am sure it was another lady with the same name who was an unrelated dressmaker, but you never know they could have used her name because she was popular.

Paula I did find some info on a Mary Margaret McBride on www.vivisimo.com...looks like she was a radio personality during the
40s/50s. (kind of the "Martha Stewart" of her day).

Wonder if this label is similar to some of the movie actress labels that we see of this era?
