...when they started putting laundry instructions on labels?

was there a later date when they started showing little washer icons with the circle and line thru it for "dont wash".. etc?

i bet its cause i hate doing laundry.. lol...

Garment Care labels began in 1971 in the USA. The current labels were introduced in 1983.

Don't know about the "don't wash" icon.

now i feel really stupid, i've been a member for how long and didnt know we had that resource? duh...i'm embarassed.

i found this, which answers my own second question:
