Windowshopping...

At the Caritas secondhand shop, where I bought my fab Dior shoes, they always decorate their shop windows so nicely - one just can't walk by and not notice (but I should, as I'm saving up all my money for next months' vacation :lalala: ).

On the left, with the flowers on it is a small black handbag.

Isn't this just fab?

They keep this decoration for about 4 weeks, and this time you can't buy any item that's in the window, but they list the prices, and the date as when these things go on sale (meaning they change the decoration the day before).
That's how they do it at all Caritas shops here, and their windows are always a sight - last summer they did four at their downtown store with clothes made of colorful, flower-print fabrics. Too bad I didn't take a pic then... I think it's a great idea to entice people to shop there (they are charity shops).

Yea, I love that yellow handbag too! And that pantsuit... I think it's so cool, but it might be too big for me. I'll have to see when it goes on sale by the end of this month. The dress is by Gassmann, one of the very, very upmarket shops on Bahnhofstrasse here in Zurich. It could be silk by the look of the fabric.

Oh the green floral jumpsuit is just divine! That is my favourite and I'd be in there like a shot to buy it too. Great photos and thank you for sharing them with us. How lucky to have such a delightful shop on your doorstep!

Now I must remember to take a photo or two of my local boutique - it's called 'Junk Shop' of all things but they've got a Vespa scooter in the window with lots of retro and vintage/recycled clothing. They charge way too much for their merchandise BUT the window is always interesting.
