Saw this ad for sale on eBay - no date. It comes with fabric swatches. "Just cut to fit your figure"... Not exactly - perhaps "Cut to fit your height." ??? Did it need to be hemmed after cutting?

Interesting, I can see the straps being adjustable, maybe the seams?

I have seen these slips. You just cut at the lines at the hem for your height.

I have had several of these slips, over the years. The idea was that you can trim along any of the rows of sheer trim on the skirt to shorten it to your preferred length, and it would not need to be hemmed. This does not change the size/fit, of course, just the length.

Out of curiosity I tried it once, and it worked--at least for a while! I sold that slip a bit later, so who knows what happened to it over time...

I have owned one of these too at some point, it wasn't cut and I didn't try to cut it either. I *think* I had the information on how it worked from the forums here.
