Oh My.I was just going to write about this.I live vintage.Just not in that way.I guess I am one to put a spin on things. But!! I would have asked the same thing the blonde did when she walked into the house.I want things original.I have a high ranch. And I am redoing my bathroom the way it was in 1964.The fashions were cute, but it seemed forced. I do not find it real. What does everyone else think??
I am sure we all live this in one way or another. It could be a sweater/coat dress wallpaper etc that we incorporate in our daily lives.I live vintage.Just not like this.It felt contrived,Like there was a script. It just didnt seem real. Maybe you can see it on you tube or the internet. For me it was scripted.I will be watching the next one tho!!
The blond girl that came off snooty has a blog. She was stunned as they did a lot of taking liberties if you may.
Personally I was not even watching the script so much as looking for all the vintage on them and the backgrounds for accuracy. Any show at all that showcases Vintage IMHO is a good thing to educate especially the young. The singer was very good also.
I've not been able to see the show and only heard about it here and on this blog http://missdolliedeville.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/follow-up-to-wives-with-beehives.html?m=1 but it does worry me a little when there are accusations of it being created and shaped. I have no idea of what the truth is, but it's such a pity that such programmes can't be more positive!
