Actually original 20s 30s travel posters are HIGHLY collectable, and certain artists particularly. I don't know whether the estimates are realistic or would be the same here, but they didn't surprise me.

Here's an article with some sold prices from Christies 2013. These are Australian posters, but I'm sure British ones aren't that different. The sold prices range from £375 (AUS$630) to £3750 (AUS$6330)

Those are real beauties! Along with the desired estimates, there is the buyer's premium to consider (minimum 25%), but you never know, anyone can get lucky. Are you considering leaving a bid, or bidding online Ruth?

Oh, those are incredibly wonderful!! Look at this sad, sad thing:
Purchased by my parents on their cold-war era trip to the Soviet Union in 1962. Whoever framed it clearly didn't understand "acid free." Isn't it a shame? I love this poster, but it's pretty well ruined. Hung in our laundry room for years and years.
