Just found these at an estate sale and they look older than most of the mid-century shoes I usually find. There were items from the 20s in the house. I'm trying to figure out if these might be that old. Any shoe experts?? Thanks!

My reaction is 30s, too. What does it say inside the shoe?

Inside the shoe it says Combination Fitting Narrow Heel High Arch. No manufacturer mark. There is also these numbers: 240 2945 B 734 D.

    Thanks for the advice!

The wide, roundish toe of your pair were typical of American shoes made in about 1930, they might possibly even be 1929ish. A more oval shaped toe is fashionable by 1932 and these squarish or roundish wide toes are not as popular afterwards.

I don't see a size marked on them but the insole is 8.5". I really appreciate all the input. Thanks!
