The dropped rim sterling thimble and the 14K enameled band thimble are both mine. It's refreshing to have more than passing interest too!

Funny thing about the hand. I have pictures of thimbles on the hand in, maybe, two of the thimble listings. So, last night I get an ASK on one from someone YELLING at me that I really need a manicure, "HA HA HA". Then a little later I get another email from them on the second listing that has the hand in it, as follows.

SOME HAND LOTION WOULDN'T HURT EITHER. GOD, WHAT A GORGEOUS THIMBLE, BUT IT'S ALREADY OUT OF MY RANGE.

Um, OK. I know they were joking but I just didn't know how to respond. They didn't really ask any questions.

Their both lovely but I would have to say that dropped rim one is quite special. That's pretty funny about the emails about your mannequin hand! I remember one time we were showing a fox fur stole on our naked mannequin and I had one woman write expressing her utter disdain for showing some of the mannequin's breasts as we had not bothered to dress her. It was pretty funny, we did write her to calm her down, she apologized afterwards.
