1980s nwt Diane Von Furstenberg Asymetrical Front Dress.

It's kinda 1940s meets 1980s. Yes or no? Peplums & Triangle New Wave front, shoulder pads, full skirt.
Would you call this fabric tweedy? If not tweedy, what??
The neck line kind of has that cossack feel to it.
