week after next wednesday, i'm profiling ms. ceil, so if you've got pics of great ceils (past or present) from your collections, happen to be auction a ceil, etc., pop them on this thead, when you catch a moment.

also, for my sake, i'm confused about the ceil labelling. what do they mean (white vs. black?) are they time period-related, upper-line/lower-line related?

would appreciate some feedback on the labelling, for my own sake.

Here is a Ceil I sold just before Christmas. As far as I know there is no time/date relationship with the black and whire labels. I have heard it suggested that white on black labels denote higher end. Not necessarily on Ceil Chapman, but in gerneral.
