Wow 60s Lilly Pulitzer Bag (Don\'t Look, Chris and Maureen.)

:D Did you look anyway?

I got this, a couple of days ago, though handbags are rare for me. I paid 5 times more than I'd usually pay and have spent a couple hours cleaning it, but a little voice was calling out to me, as I tried to walk from the store to my car, with my other purchases.

...'60s Lilly Pulitzer, with the orange-font-on-white tag inside; wicker handles and base; patchwork/windowpane sections of fabrics trimmed in braid, with a hidden signature in the lower-left-corner on each long side; embroidered-ribbon trim (and tag) on the inside...

I can't find anything like it and am hoping my little voice wasn't 'off kilter.' I'm seeing a lot of actual, modern Lilly bucket bags and 'made from Lilly fabric' DIY bucket bags. I think it's 'cute as a dickens,' but can I consider this special and, erm, if so, how special? :)

That is very cute! (of course if you told me not to look, I am going to look :)

I am not a Lily Pulitzer expert, however, but I like it. since it is actually a Lily Pulitzer and not just made out of the fabric, I think you made a very good buy!

I would have to do some research on it for pricing and timing, and maybe someone more in tune to the collectibility of Lilly will chime in.

I am not a handbag expert but I love it! I think you made a wise choice. I am sure I have seen some mag pics of purses like this. Is the blue close to a TEAL that is so popular for this Spring?
