Hello. Just bought this jean. Seller says the are 80’s jeans but on the care tag says made in Mexico with us fabric Can these actually be from the. 80’s ?
 
would you happen to have a photo - of the garment, tags, etc?
 
Made in Mexico with US fabric was a common thing to see on labels in the 1980s but also in the 1990s. I'm not sure if it extended into the 2000s but if you add photos I'm sure someone here can help you date it!
 
I don't believe Wrangler started manufacturing in Mexico before 2000/2001. They are very good quality, and seem to have higher standards than some of the manufacturers that are using factories in many places all over the world - such as Levi's having very different fit, based on location of plant.
