You\'re all invited to the garden party!

Happy May! This month at denisebrain, the garden party never ends, with plenty of blooming prints and sun-loving styles!

This is a tribute to a wonderful older woman that I met years ago when I answered an ad advertising a 200-item vintage clothing collection for sale. Joann lives far away now, and is in failing health. I know she looks at things online with the help of her daughter, and I think--actually I know--it will please her to see her favorite sort of flowery and feminine clothing shown in her honor.

Now if it would only get up to 60 F, it might actually feel like May!
 
I've been playing in the dirt for the last two weeks and don't have anything that lovely to show for it....thanks for the reminder of things to come!
 
Seriously, I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your monthly things. They're SO creative!! Last month with the raining cats and dogs and this month with the garden party - brilliant take on the April showers/May flowers thing. I love it!!
