Is this (very large ) black patent purse by Tarkor from the 1960s?

Hey everyone,
This bag would seem to me to be a 60s bag, but it is really large....is there a term for such an 'oversized' purse...it almost strikes me as tote size....the little attached chain purse seems like an 'early' detail, but wondering if this is a newer bag in an older style....you could get an ipad in the darn thing!

Maybe it's technically vinyl?

 

You'd need to find an edge of the covering material to determine if it is patent leather or vinyl. Some of the largest bags I've seen come from the 1960's so I see nothing wrong with that. The findings also look like those I've seen before on mid-late 60's examples.
