    Hi all!

I hit a last minute estate sale yesterday and found these 4 nurses uniforms in the closet. Very very dirty but for the most part structurally sound. All of them have some sort of pleating or pintucking element and I thought they were much prettier than most nurses uniforms I've seen. Can I confirm these as 1940s?

Crisp cotton, metal Talon or Lance zippers, all have 'Gripper' brand snaps. 2 are button and snap front and two are zippered in the back. Both flat felled and overlock seams. The first has removable shell shank buttons and has a label from 'Puritan Uniforms'

These need a good long soak! I think these would be best sold as an ebay lot, perhaps for a production or film...

    Thanks in advance.

  2. They appear to be 40s to me. Maybe post WW II though. WWII reenactors love these.
