N. DeScherer label?

Does anyone know who the N. DeScherer label is? I recently got two fur coats from my aunt, and I'm curious to know anything about them. Attached is a picture of the label.

N. DeScherer was apparently the Englewood, NJ business of Nathan DeScherer, a tailor who was born in Austria around 1882-1884 (depending upon his mood when he was filling out documents, it seems). Most of the references I found to him were in the 1950s and he died in 1975, but I don't know if his family continued the business after his death. This ad is from 1953...

Good Day. Nathan DeScherer was my grandfather, and owned the business for over 75 years. The shop was high end, and from the guest books I have, his clientele included the likes as members of the Vanderbilt and Astor family. I actually have a few rolls of these beautiful silk labels. Yes, thank you, Steven, as Donna pointed out it is an old post. It is nice to have this information though in case someone else finds something with this label, we now have some excellent background information from you. Always nice to hear from family members.
