How-To: a carry bag for my hoop petticoat (or whatever else)

Here's a quick&easy tutorial for making a carrying bag from a pillowcase. I use it for my hoop petticoat, but you could really use it for just about anything.

Cute! If only I had the skills to do it...

The skills needed are so minimal, I swear you can do it! Just buy a pillowcase you like. Then, if you don't want to sew a tube, just use, say, an orphaned fabric belt from a robe, old dress, or similar, or even a piece of soft rope. Anything that would work as a handle. Then you can just stitch it onto the bag by hand if you don't use a sewing machine (or enlist a friend to help). If you're in Atlanta... come by : ).

Well, I might try it then! It will likely improve my sewing skills and I still get a carry bag. Unfortunately, I'm far away from Atlanta (about 4.500 miles)... :hysterical: If I ever go to the USA, I'll pay you a visit.
