Can anyone date this Champion crewneck?

I got this crewneck from Chicago in Harajuku (quite a famous vintage shop in Tokyo). but I can't tell how old this is.

Agreed. And judging by the integrity of the label, I'd say it isn't likely that it's from the 1990s.
