Hello! This is part 2 of 5 posts. From my research, I’m thinking this silk fur collared cape is circa 1920s. An opera cape? No labels. One button closure at high neck. I think the fur might be rabbit but I’m only guessing. It has a small ruched pocket on its lining and what appear to be arm straps? Again I’m guessing to maybe keep the cape secure when wearing it unbuttoned? Any help is most appreciated! Thank you.

Capes that shape are popular 1919ish up to 1924ish. Again, I wonder if it had a matching dress at one time. It's nicely constructed, so it was an good garment in its day.
