Help dating swing opera jacket / coat 1930s?

    Hi,

    this was sold to me as 1930s but now I'm beginning to see more 50s and 60s with the type and style of brocade, and relatively narrow sleeves as well as shoulders and acetate lining? help! Has pockets IMG_2469.JPG

    Yes, I am seeing mid to late 1950s to maybe very early 1960s.

    I agree with Barbara, I am seeing 1950s or early 60s, would have had a matching dress, most likely a sheath styled one.
