Hello, I have this pair of what I thought was modern 501s, but noticed a "This is a Pair if Levi's" authentication printed on the inside pocket. There is a trademarked year on it, would this help date my jeans? I can't make it out. If anything, I think it would be 90s, maybe 1992? I found different years on levis jeans for sale when I reverse image searched it. This pair could just be modern within the last few to 15 years though, but it never hurts to ask. Thanks! It *looks* like 1841 which makes no sense at all! I also thought it could be 1873, which is when they received their patent, but since other similar pairs of 501's say 1993 or 2010, I am hoping this pair has it's actual manufacturing date as well.

Manufactured in DR might make them 1990s at the earliest.

Pretty sure the writing says copyright 1993, however, they could still be later. What is the rise like on them? 90s saw a lot of low and mid rise jeans, could be a pointer.

That is true, the rise measures 12"

Its not a guarantee but with a high rise I would expect after 00's rather than 90's

I would agree. They don't look 90s to me. Thank you!
