Reproduction dress project

    I am making another reproduction dress from a pattern that I made from a real 1920s dress. It’s not done. It needs to be hemmed up and I’m not sure of the sash. It’s made from a floral crepe. Just wondering how close it looks in your opinion, to the 1923 dress I’m copying. This is a new thing for me, copying a 1920s dress while trying not to make it look obviously 1920s. The hat is wrong, obviously.

    I love it. From what I can tell, you are on the right track. Crepe is perfect for that too.

    Thank you! The original 20s dress is crepe so I wanted to stick with that so it would hang and feel the same way. I just couldn’t find any solid colors.
