I have a super cute deadstock dress that I don't know much about the designer/label? I have seen this same label on dresses labeled 50's, but definitely with the pattern and cut I feel like 60s/70s. It is made of 100% acetate. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!! :)

Hello @Little miss sunshine,

Maxan was best known for loungewear of all kinds: Robes, brunch coats, dusters, etc., and also made some clothing. This is probably a dress designed for lounging. You're right, it looks to be from the late 60s to 70s. I could find an ad for Maxan in 1972, but I didn't find info about when the company started and stopped.
