    Yes, Maggie, I learned that at my mother's knee when I was a young child. I was just adding to the other comment about satin versus sateen when it comes to cotton. I only have a few samples of cotton satins. Lots of cotton sateens though.

    Ohhhh! No rush at all, but if you can share a photo of that cotton satin, I'd be very thankful. I can't say I've seen it, and searching online is worthless.

    Agree. When I dig it out of the rafters I will post it. I have a photo but it is on one of those old hard floppies!
