Dating a Stall coat and help with type of fur around collar

I need help dating this Stall coat. I’ve never seen this Stall label before on their coats and I’m having a hard time dating it. I would also like help figuring out what type of fur is on the collar.

Hi,

I am wondering if your coat is Stirling Stall although an entirely different label style.

The reason for my thinking,--is that a stylized "S" in the little gold box?

If so it is similar or same as the "S" used on their labels.

I'm reaching and could be way off.

As for era I see late 70s in to 80s.

I think it’s Sterling Stall too, but I’ve never seen the gold label before.

Hi,

Stirling Stall could be a complete red herring so you will need to do more research.

There is a thread on Stirling Stall on these forums and a coat, while not leather is a little similar, you will see what I mean, do a search.

I checked the CA number it’s Sterling Stall
