Having a brain gap out....is this just large bumps crocodile skin on this bag?

Looks more like crocodile to me, although I don't see any pores. Could it possibly be hand stamped or embossed?

I'm thinking possibly embossed too there is a lot of it about now. It's hard enough to spot the best of this "in the flesh" but once cut, near on impossible from a pic
I used a lot of snake, some croc too, back in the 1970s. If there had been embossed options at the time I'd have known about it and used it, Croc was horribly expensive even then
Perhaps if could see the inside of the purse/wallet it might help omit that possibility? (If it can be dated pre 70s for instance?)
Even blown up I can't see pores either
