Do you think "Rockabilly" is a suitable word for this?

I'm familiar with those insecure feelings. ;) I'm sure someone will come along who knows more; so I'd wait for a second opinion.

Anyone know VALI? And is this fabric osnaburg?

Late 60s dress by Vali - cannot find any info on Vali, but have come across the label before. Anyone here know anything about them? The closest sample in my cotton book to this fabric is osnaburg. The yarns are heavier on this fabric and more slubbing (or knots) - is there a name for this...

When did they stop making horizontal button holes?

The pocket is not matched, Yvonne - good to know for the future. The buttons are silvery with an embossed basket-weave effect. I searched GARMENT FACTORY TO YOU, but came up empty handed. Seems they are no longer in business or they changed their name. Nada on Mia design either. Do you...

When did they stop making horizontal button holes?

Thanks, ladies! How I wish it was like the one that went for 7K!!! There's no maker on the label, Von, it just says made in Hawaii RN 37359. It has a paper label underneath saying 100% acrylic. Oh and I just noticed on the selvedge it says Mia Design - Honolulu 100% Acrylic. I'll get...

When did they stop making horizontal button holes?

I picked up an Hawaii shirt today that by the colour palette and labelling I think is 70s. It has horizontal button holes. Just wondering when they stopped making horizontal button holes in clothing? Thanks!

Knock knock. Who's there? Oh, deer!

You're a good mommy Sharon and I'm sure Max appreciated being saved. The personalities really do come thru, Carrie. There's another deer that didn't venture up the stairs on the bottom left of the photo between the rails - you can see part of its face and right ear - I just noticed it when I...
