At least that cat is smart enough to stay on the warm side of the door - I just finished crawling under our deck to retrieve Max the wonder cat decided 1 degree was PERFECT weather to go out for a stroll, then got his paw caught between two boards~ I'm sure it was quite the sight- my big backside in black snow pants wiggling in the snow trying to get back where the cat was stuck. :mad:

Funny how the deers' "personalities" come through--the antlered guy is kinda curious, the fawn hangs back shyly, and who KNOWS what the cat is thinking (though the forward slant of ears suggest she's a bit on the nervous side...)

The personalities really do come thru, Carrie. There's another deer that didn't venture up the stairs on the bottom left of the photo between the rails - you can see part of its face and right ear - I just noticed it when I put the photo on my desk top.

That is just to adorable for words! I get excited when we have a hare in the backyard, I don't know what I'd do if I saw a deer there.
