@Avantbo Thanks for posting the larger Woollands image - perfecto! What I meant by linear was a "just the facts, ma'am" approach, without editorializing. We certainly love all manner of personal comments on the forums, but that approach doesn't quite fit the format of the Label Resource. I'm...

@Avantbo This is wonderful research. Thank you so much! I'll do my best to pull it together into linear bios for the Label Resource, unless you'd rather I leave that to you. I think the LeRose label is fine, but we will need a larger close-up image of the Woolands label (scroll up to view the...

    Help identifying Gunne Sax label!

We have a good many Gunne Sax labels in our Label Resource, but not yours. A trademark search indicates that the Gunne Sax name was in use by Jessica McClintock Inc. until at least 2014. Based on the font style, my guess is your dress is a newer garment.

Help with Pink Vintage Dress “Styled by Adrian, Toronto”

What a charming dress! It would be nice to see the full dress for sweep and length, but I'm feeling a late 1950s-early '60s transitional style. I'd call the fabric jacquard. This Canadian Adrian label is unfamiliar to me.
