We have a good many Gunne Sax labels in our Label Resource, but not yours.
A trademark search indicates that the Gunne Sax name was in use by Jessica McClintock Inc. until at least 2014.
Based on the font style, my guess is your dress is a newer garment.

It would be nice to see the full dress for sweep and length, but I'm feeling a late 1950s-early '60s transitional style. I'd call the fabric jacquard.
