I just got a question from a buyer about the creases & wrinkles in my Members Only Leather jackets & how to get them out.
I told her she may be able to steam them out in the bathroom without harming the leather or she could also ask a dry cleaner what they think. I also told her I thought...
No Way Brenda! Are you sure??? Gotta go revise it - BRB
Thank You! whew! Just in time! No bids yet - But the "barkcloth" napkins I have up are also Wilendur, don't you think?
Unfortunately, the tablecloth isn't perfect, but I raised the start from $7.99 to $9.99 anyway & showed all the...
Okay - here's the link to the whole folder.

It doesn't have the detailed pics of the lot yet, but the 4 tablecloths in the lot have some spots & the pink bordered one has some small holes & stress marks...
I have friends there. They all headed North.
I was reading about it on msnbc & one quote really cracked me up, it was so typical New Orleanian.
This lady in the French Quarter said something along the lines of "We live thru mardi Gras. This is nothing." And another guy said his house was...
Thanks, Linda.
Actually they've been washed as I actually used almost all of them at one point or another.
I plan to take pics this afternoon. Y'all will be the first to see them! ;)

I only have a few. Maybe 8 or so. I hate to part with them but I DON'T need them, so bye-bye! Most are florals & I think 40s or 50s era. I also have some not-so-vintage napkins that I'll lot up. I just want this stuff to go away! LOL
I thought I might put the ones that aren't in excellent...
Suddenly all of this is in French!
I swear I ain't :booze:
OMG - this is a riot!
...especially since I failed that language miserably waaaay back in my HS daze.
Anyone else getting this bit? :puzzled:
Thanks!
I'm in VA til Sept 10th. But since I charge flat rate S/H, I didn;t think that really mattered for the next 2 weeks.
I really can NOT WAIT to get there. LOL I'm so over this place here.
Anyway - this new & legal id will allow me to sell whatever the heck I wanna. Oh, naturally...

For years you could buy the copied (cheap) style at Woolworths. Now that Woolworth's is closed, we're all jonesing for them! LOL

I just listed some great stuff at even better prices, but not eBay or on Babylon.
If you want details, just email or U2U me.
Thanks!

Awhile back I posted some links in the members area. I *think* the thread title is "Got Clip Art?" - or something similar.
Well, I've managed to lose all those links, so if anyone has them - or some other good retro &/or vintage clip art sites to recommend, I'd truly appreciate them...
<B><I>"I remember Danskins used to make bodysuits like that and sell matching wrap skirts to go with them."</I></B>
...yes & I had 3 of those outfits. I really thought I was Stylin'!!!
oi vey - I had teal, a sort of red violet (darkish) , and of course I had black.
I'm not sure what else...
<B><I>"I've decided that my first goal is to see if it is possible on my own to list 150 items on eBay in one month..."</I></B>
A very good friend of mine who is a very successful vintage seller tells me all the time, "Volume, Volume, Volume!" That's one of the things I'm looking forwrd to...
My pleasure, Ladies.
My favourite has to be...

Another vote for 70's. Maybe even newer.
The give away is the bust size. A size 12 from the 40's or 50's would have a 32 bust. Fabric, too.
I have some links - I'll look for them for you.

My mom used to cut chicken, chop eggs, and spread mayo on the same cutting board with the same knife and no bleach, but we didn't seem to get food poisoning.
My mom used to defrost hamburger on the counter AND I used to eat it raw sometimes too, our school sandwiches were wrapped in wax paper...
Okay - well, the move has been postponed til Sept 10th. My website store is temporarily closed, also. I have too much to contend with trying to pack, etc to deal with it right now. I will have a Grand Re-Opening in October, so if you want your private discount coupons & the announcement, just go...
Lizzie,
Do you want to change the page you linked to to have a pic for each of the 6 categories? I may have a grandma you can borrow for the early years. ;)

Okay - I'll bite.
What exactly makes them <B>D'Orsay</B>?
I always thought that was the brand name, but when I just did an eBay search, I found other vendors as well. What gives? Please educate me.

We\'re Moving
(Read: Shockingly Bold Self-Promotion)
yup.
had enough of Virginia.
So - it's California or Bust for this ol gal.
Meanwhile - if you're in shopping mode & want to legally steal some stuff, I'm having a yard sale on my website.
Everything from Modern to Vintage to Books...
Me? What bust?
At least you ladies don't look like Bart Simpson in a dress...
Oh & I checked the bix for the size I wear in casual clothing...
For a dressy dress, I'd have to go with a smaller one.

I don't have an image yet? I want to size my clipboard...
The height I remember was 1056, and the width was 6-something...
Ring a Bell?
Wait - NOT pixels - the other thangs...
