Is it lined or (eeek!) bonded, by any chance? And - does the fabric sorta look like upholstery weight? Looks to me like 70s? and may be a polyester blend of some sort. Or may be a polyester, period. There were quite a lot of different finishes to polyester, as I recall. My Mom loved that...
