Is there a name for this kind of skirt?

I'm working on some VTA's

Ok this skirt has side pleats that are topped with these little arrows. Is there a name for this? Either the pleats or the way they're arrowed like western wear?

I remember wearing skirts like this in the late 50s, early 60s, but I sure don't know what that arrow detail is called.

I realize this is gonna sound nutz - but my Mom always called them arrowhead pleats.

I dunno if she made that up or if it's a "real" tailoring term.

Keep in mind that her favorite curse phrase was, "You Dirty Mustache!"

Arrowhead pleats is EASY to say, easy to type and sounds fine to me. I wanted to get this listed tonight but i'm BEAT! it can wait fr wednesday but THANK YOU!
