I found this in a thrift store, know nothing about vintage but was amazed at the condition of this coat and old-looking labels-- can someone help date it? It has a fully removable winter lining with its own label. I'm posting photos of all labels.
I tried searching online but couldn't find any...
Hi! I recently found this London Fog winter coat at a thrift store and am having a hard time dating it... there doesn't seem to be a lot of resources around logos or date codes for London Fog. I'm hoping someone can impart their wisdom with me and help me date this baby...

Hello! I just bought a cool grayish-blue London fog jacket from a thrift shop and am trying to learn more about it. I can't find any information other than "made in China" and the main label that says Limited Edition on it. It looks like a men's jacket as it has no defined waist but not 100%...
So I recently purchased a London Fog trench coat, a nice black color, and on the tag on the inside, it says it is a sterling edition and I have tried looking into if that was a specific line of coats but I haven't been able to find anything and was wondering if you all could help me figure out a...
Trying to Identify London Fog Women's Long Coat
It doesn't have any lining and I can not find any similar ones and honestly just started getting into vintage pieces.
Any help would be great!!
Hello,
I have a London Fog Maincoats complete with summer lining and removable winter lining. The labels are in both French and English. The coat is made from 'Glengarry cloth' but is not a tartan, where as the removable lining is 'St Ives Cloth' and is a tartan like design. It feels vintage...
I purchased this coat at a thrift store and have researched everywhere to try to find one similar to see how old it is with no luck. The label says it is made of Dacron which tells me around 1954 but all the pics I see of those in that time frame have buttons and a belt, not snaps and no belt...
Hello! I recently found a gorgeous London Fog coat that appears to be from the 70's (dagger collar and label indicate this). It's made from "cimarron cloth " a sueded rayon that has a velvet feel. I have researched the coat and the material many different ways but I can't find anything remotely...
Sorry, its me again. I've come across the following London Fog jacket (see photos) and wondered if anyone had an ideas about likely age?
I've attached photos of the jacket itself, together with the internal label and tags. The jacket /copy seems 70s in style, but happy if anyone has any...
Hi There Everyone,
This coat is a bit puzzling to me. It is London Fog and looks to me like it's from the 1980s, but I'm not sure. It has brass buttons with "Canada" and anchors which seems official but it definitely doesn't look like military 'issue'.... Any thoughts?
Thanks for any direction...
Hi Everyone, I seem to be inundated with puzzlers (to me anyway).....
This flannel shirt says "single needle tailoring Canada" which would make me think it was on the 'earlier' side but I really don't know....the only other label is that soft type inside on one of the seams and all the...
London Fog jacket I'm also curious about. The pockets have no additional tags. It's a really nice coat. Very warm, though it is obviously for men. :) If anyone has any thoughts, If or knows what year this might be and the fabrics I would be very grateful.
On an off chance, does anyone know of a resource for dating London Fog labels? Have a couple items - too much to post - but thought it couldn't hurt to ask about a good resource. Any thoughts?
