“If Your Underwear Does Slip...”

This was found inside a ca. late-1920's, or early 1930’s, Christmas card I just uncovered here. The sender wrote:

"If your underwear does slip,
Pin us in dresses, at the shoulders,
And snap us round unruly straps -
- You'll find us first rate holders!"

There are, of course, snaps at the bottom of each ribbon 'holder.'
