It's lovely, but more likely 1930s/40s. Small clutches like this weren't in during the 20s.

This is that belt purse that i was asking about along time ago with the loop in the back. It is not really a clutch, but i was putting clutch in the title so people could imagine a new use...it would have been an awfully small clutch...its that belt typa purse...we were talking about it on this board way back when whether it was a belt purse vs the loop was for gloves and no one mentioned that my date was incorrect.

I am willing to end my listing if i am truly truly incorrect, but need to know soon so I can change my game plan.

I purchased it as a 20s handbag from an estate collection of a well to do woman who collected teens through 20s handbags and the stitching and the details are definitely older than all my 40s bags.

SOrry, I missed that conversation about the purse, but I am quite sure the loop would be for gloves, and that the purse is more likely 30s.
