1934 & 1935 magazines! oh, Lizzie and Pam!

    I watched a Jeanette MacDonald in "San Francisco" over the weekend. This MGM movie was made in 1936 with gowns by Adrian. Jeanette MacDonald also starred in "The Merry Widow" made sometime in that same time frame so if you could get a copy of it and watch that might help you a lot.

    And while "San Francisco" (also starring Clark Gable) is set in 1905-1906 there is a strong mid-1930's flavor and lots of music much of it opera.)

    Wow, thanks for sharing these! I love the gowns, swimsuits, and those strappy heels :wub:

    I used to have a Barbie with a gown similar to the one shown with long gloves. :)
