1947 outfit help please!

Hi everyone!

I am attending a special screening of Who Framed Roger Rabbit on Valentines Day this year and it is required that all guests dress in relevant outfits for the date that the film was set (1947 Hollywood). I am struggling with this one a bit as i want to fit in perfectly! The obvious choice would be a Jessica Rabbit inspired get-up but i know i would not be able to do her justice!!

Can anyone help please??

Hmm I do have a Jessica rabbit style dress if you're interested - full length red sequin with knee high side slit. Fits a 36-38" bust.
The barmaid/waitress has a good 1940s look:

Alternatively it might be fun to go as a weasel with the colour co-ordinating gangster look!

Betty Boop also appears at one stage for some reason.
