1950s Gossard Swimsuit from Glamoursurf wins 1st Place at Viva Las Vegas 15

Well, I was tickled pink to find out this news a few days ago and wanted to share it with you all.

Our lovely customer, Edie Edison, won first place in the 2015 VLV vintage swimsuit competition in a vintage 50s Gossard bikini swimsuit she purchased from Glamoursurf. Edie is on the left in this first photo.

Doesn't she look AMAZING?!? That hair, the flower spray, the jewelry, the grass skirt! And I think she styled it just perfectly.

I feel so proud, almost as if Glamoursurf won too!

It took me awhile to move past her great hairdo and see the swimsuit. How many cans of Paula Payne did it take to defy gravity? I have a picture of an elder sister from the early 70s and I swear her hair is teased and swirled to a faretheewell. Comparing the swimsuit on the dress form to how it looks on the lovely Edie, it doesn't look like the same suit. What an event! :clapping:
