Well I finally listed this wedding dress... It is a "halter" dress with an extreme crop matching jacket. I love the idea of the princess dress with the more formal jacket...

Anyway thought I would let you guys know!!

Hey thanks! Its one of those items that took me awhile to list because I wanted to own it just for awhile or not really own it, caretake it until the next person comes along to caretake it...

It was time :)

That is a beauty Michelle!

It somewhat reminds me of an outfit Carrie was wearing when I watched SATC last night.

I know just what you mean about holding items,
sometimes I just want to keep them for awhile to admire them before sending them on. :)

This would be one of those items.... something like this just doesn't become available often.

Stunning! Love the effect of the tulle wrapped around the neck for the halter.

I have always had a soft spot for the 'practical' little jacket that could be worn durign the ceremony, then shed for the reception.

Why don't they do these now for the strapless wedding dresses?

So pratical for winter weddings, Plus they cover up the bride's tatoos for the service!

HAAAA I love that Hollis!! Covering up the bride's tattoos! Should have put that in the description!
I had a cashmere wedding dress that had removable sleeves, the wedding was canceled so I never ended up wearing it but it was great how it was two completely different looks AND as Hollis said a tattoo coverer! I was thinking more along the lines of warmth as an outdoor Scottish wedding would be a bit chilly for a scantly clad bride..

Anyway, thanks guys for your "love" of the dress :)

Gee...i would be tempted to wear that dress without the coverup as a ball gown rather than a wedding dress. If you went with very dramatic jewels rather than something more traditionally wedding like pearls.
