1950s or 60s for this Organza (?) little robe?

Hi Everyone and hope you are all having a great day.
Am I looking at organza? It has a raised pattern of little flowers and dots that feel soft and cottony.
Also wondering if I'm late 50s here?
Thanks for any help in advance.

  2. Hello, it's hard to see the fabric from the photos but if it feels cottony, it could be dotted swiss cotton. If it feels synthetic, it could be flocked nylon. Most likely the first though.

It looks like dotted Swiss to me, too. I think it's '60's and probably had a matching nightgown. I Googled the label and discovered it was a New York company established in 1953 in business until the 1990s.

That is lovely. Organza is silk, so it is not that fabric. To me it looks like flocked nylon or similar. Might be a bland of cotton and a synthetic.
