30s vintage gown

I'm late to this thread but just wanted to agree on early 40's and I think it's on the correct direction. I've had gowns like that in the past with the peplum draped in the front like that.

Jojo, I found out when I posted a pic of me in the dress on this forum :BAGUSE:. Everybody said I should put it on the other way - I thought "no way" first, but did it anyway - and Bingo, I got it. Not that anybody would have noticed at work - they probably just thought that I was wearing another crazy dress. It's a drapey crepe fabric, so it was easy to get it wrong. It has a self-belt with buckle in the back, and buttons down the back - which I had thought must be in front, because... how do you put it on then? I'm a master contortionist now, I can tell you! :hysterical:

Haha, that reminds me of my old job Karin. Very corporate office setting. I think they all looked forward to what I would show up in next! Or they may have just thought I was crazy!

Jojo - I think the dress looks the right way, but then again I've done the backwards thing before :drinking2:
