Interesting. Although the "story" gives no real information at all about the hat, other than to say it was found, and that they think there are 4 more just like it somewhere in the world (???). There is only 1 photo and it only shows a part of the hat. They are a big tease!
Now I will have to go an investigate if they ever found anything about the hat. I would like to see the underside and close up of the details. Looks like a form of lace/macrame and maybe some straw in there, probably a linen thread or cording.
Guess I will Google and see what I find.....but so far nothing comes up on Google.
