40s peeptoe platforms? or 70s?

These are the second pair that I have found and the 1st pair turned out to be from the 70s.
I would appreciate a bit of help dating these.

Those are 40s, although more likely c. 1950ish because of the open strappy vamps. Platforms were popular into the early 50s, especially in black suede.

When I saw these yesterday I thought they may be into the 50s as well but was hesitant to post, I am glad to see Jonathan's expert opinion.
