50’s - 70’s Rogers Peet Co. Cream Shawl Blazer

    I found this one recently and was looking for a little more info. Have yet to find any reference to this style font for Rogers Peet Co. The majority are the original cursive font with references from the 40’s and 50’s.

    The Rogers Peet Company bought its Boston location in 1925 and closed in January 1970. I have never seen this non-cursive font label either but will take a look when I get a minute. Not an expert in menswear at all but I believe the Palm Beach suit was designed in the 30s though I don’t know how long it remained popular. I think there was renewed interest in them in the 50s.

    Thank you for the info! The care instructions just threw me off a bit. I usually don’t ever see them printed and that detailed.
