H Everyone, wondering if this is 50s or 60s and I can't remember the term for this fabric. It feels maybe to be silk? Sorry if this is my second posting, I could have sworn I asked about it but cannot find it in my archived postings!

Could the fabric be rayon faille?

Faille! Thanks. That's it. So I guess I should do a burn test to check if it's silk or rayon? Also, am I correct in early 60s?

If the coat is lightweight for it's size it may be silk. Rayon will be a bit heavier, but to be sure you need to do a burn test.
