A Homemade Halloween

It's the season to dust off the sewing machine, break out the craft glue, and (as Grandma used to say), put on your thinking cap. We're having an old fashioned costume party as we hearken back to the days when everybody rummaged through their closets looking for bits and pieces to put together a homemade Halloween costume. Need that unique accessory, hat or piece of clothing to really "make" your ensemble? VFG members are coming to the rescue, parading out all sorts of creative choices for your costume. Imagine!

I love costume patterns and have quite a few in my shop! Burda publishes loads of costume patterns every year, though mostly for carnival, which is a big thing in Germany. There's probably no costume they haven't done over the decades...
