    A silk blouse 40\'s ?

Can't figure a date for this blouse maybe 40's?? Or am I way off? Because the inside of the button placket (?) has a dark yellowed pellon lining. SLubbed silk With a label Gildemeister & Reis seit 1817 Bremen ( any ideas on that ?)
French cuffs, hong kong finish seams Really made nice. All the buttons are in groups of three. The collar buttons to the top but I have it undone.

I hand washed this and couldn't get all the wrinkles steamed out.

  2. Pauline, it looks 40s to me but hopefully someone will come along that knows more about it. Can you iron it?

Never heard of that label Pauline, and am not sure of the
date. Late 40s? Early 50s? I know that they were using
pellon in the 50s, but not sure about the 40s.
