A Vera Mink Stole

    Hello -- found a mink stole at an estate sale today -- the lining says "vera" -- I know that she made scarves -- and some clothes? -- mink stoles though? Thanks for any information!

    I have not heard of a stole but she was a very prolific lady.

    Do you have a picture you could show us of the lining? (and maybe the stole). We would love to see it. It could be THE Vera (Vera Neumann) or it could be the name of someone more local. I would love to see it

    I've seen linens and numerous scarves but never any other things.
    Is it possible someone lined the stole with one or more of her scarves?

    Or it could be the owner's name. Many furs have the owner's name embroidered inside.

    Not as far as I've ever read. Ellen might be right about it being the owner's name.
